According to statistics released by the Korea Iron & Steel Association (KOSA), the country's stocks of flat rolled carbon steel held by the distributors totaled 1.189 million tons at the end of November, falling by 2.4% from a month ago and decreasing by 5.6% year on year.
It's analyzed that the decreased imports caused lower stocks in November.
In November, Korea's imports of steel flat products decreased by 12.5% from a month ago to 688,000 tons, according to KOSA.
